Radial cylindrical roller bearings absorb greater loads than comparable ball bearings. They are available in different variants. They can be either single row or double row full complement. In addition, the cylindrical roller bearings can also have a cage or a disc cage or spacers. These radial cylindrical roller bearings have a high radial load carrying capacity and are suitable for high speeds. Axial forces are also absorbed to a small extent. The cage prevents the cylindrical rollers from touching each other when rolling. The roller bearings are very stiff and can withstand extreme radial loads.
