There are different types of rolling elements, including balls, cylindrical rollers and needle rollers. Each type has its own specific characteristics and applications.

Steel Balls are in fact the most commonly used rolling elements. They offer low friction and are suitable for applications with low to medium loads and high speeds. Due to their small size, they can be used in compact bearings. Ball bearings are widely used in machines, motors, electrical appliances and many other areas.

Cylindrical rollers are elongated rollers with a cylindrical or tapered shape. They offer a larger contact surface and can support higher loads. They are often used in applications with higher loads and limited installation space, such as in gearboxes, pumps, rolling mills and crankshafts.

Needle rollers are thinner and elongated rollers with a small diameter in relation to their length. They are particularly suitable for applications with high loads and limited installation space. Needle roller bearings are frequently used in applications such as gearboxes, camshafts, connecting rods and needle roller bearings.
