Spindle Bearings are an important component in many applications where high speeds and high accuracy are required. They are specially designed for radial loads and are characterized by their self-retaining design.

Spindle bearings are single row angular ball bearings that support both radial and axial loads, making them an excellent choice for applications with changing loads. Spindle bearings can also be operated at high speeds without excessive heating. Sealed spindle bearings protect against dust, dirt and moisture with rubber or plastic seals on both sides.

There are contact and non-contact rubber seals. The former contacting the inner ring and providing a higher sealing effect, while the latter create less friction. To minimise centrifugal force at high speeds, steel or ceramic balls are often used in spindle bearings. Ceramic balls are particularly suitable for applications with above-average speeds due to their lower density and higher hardness.

Spindle bearings are characterized by their high level of accuracy and can achieve very low tolerances. This property makes them particularly suitable for use in the machine tool industry and other sectors where precision and reliability are of great importance.
