Yoke Type Track Rollers without Axial Guidance are intended primarily for radial loads and can support no axial loads or only limited axial loads.

Yoke Type Track Rollers without Inner Ring require that the raceway of the axle on which the yoke type track roller is mounted must be hardened and ground to enable low-friction movement of the rolling elements. The position of the rolling elements is stabilized and ordered by the cage. In the case of yoke type track rollers without an inner ring, the axial guidance of the outer ring and needle roller and cage assembly must be taken into consideration in the adjacent construction to ensure that loads are correctly supported and distributed.

Yoke Type Track Rollers with Inner Ring are an alternative option if the axle does not have a hardened or ground raceway. In this case, the inner ring of the yoke type track roller assumes the function of the guide. Also here, the rolling elements are guided by the cage to ensure an orderly movement. Similar to the design without an inner ring, yoke type track rollers with an inner ring must provide a suitable axial guide for the outer ring and needle roller and cage assembly in the adjacent construction to ensure stability and functionality.

Yoke type track rollers can optionally be equipped with a seal. The seal serves to protect the yoke type track roller from dirt, moisture and other contaminants.
