Tapered Roller Bearings are designed for high radial and axial loads. They consist of solid outer and inner rings with tapered raceways in which tapered rollers are arranged in a window cage. They are commonly used in various applications, such as vehicles, construction machinery and industrial plants, as they can withstand high loads and impact conditions.

The conical shape of tapered rollers ensures effective load distribution along the roller surfaces. Compared to ball bearings, tapered rollers have larger contact areas vertical to the roller axis, resulting in high load carrying capacity and axial displacement range.

Due to their stiffer structure and consistent load, tapered rollers also allow smaller rolling element diameters and are particularly suitable for applications with high radial loads and high running accuracy.

Single Row Tapered Roller Bearings consist of a flangeless outer ring, an inner ring with various flange heights and a cage. They are not self-retaining and can be mounted independently of the outer ring.

Paired Tapered Roller Bearings consist of two identical bearings combined with an intermediate ring. They can support higher radial forces and offer three arrangement options: X, O and tandem arrangements.

Integral Tapered Roller Bearings are pre-lubricated, sealed on one side and non-separable. These bearing units are often mounted in pairs in an O arrangement, with a groove formed on the outer ring for the retaining ring. Tapered roller bearings are lubricated with oil or grease and are available in Inch Sizes based on inner and outer diameters.
