Insert bearings can be Conical Incl. Clamping Sleeves. The ball bearing can be easily attached to the shaft. This insert bearing is also used in a housing. The bearing is suitable for radial loads. The conical bore is used to fasten the inner ring to a shaft using clamping sleeves. These sleeves consist of a tapered metal sleeve, a locking plate and a slotted nut. The inner ring of the bearing serves as an annular spring and presses the adapter sleeve onto the shaft. A hook wrench is used for tightening.
